About Melanie Glover

After committing myself to a yogic lifestyle I recognized the benefits of how Yoga, meditation, diet, self-care and positive thought can impact a persons life. To deepen my knowledge and mindfulness and a passion to share the gift of Yoga, I chose to complete my Yoga teacher training in September 2014 in Rishikesh India at Anand Prakash Yoga Ashram with Yogrishi Vishveketu in Akhanda Yoga. Akhanda Yoga is a holistic style of yoga that encompasses all of the traditional aspects of Hatha Yoga. Akhanda is similar to the word Yoga in Sanskrit and means indivisible, unbroken tradition, entire, and whole. My teachers Divya Elting and Tara Tarini Taylor introduced me to Akhanda Yoga and it resonated strongly with me because of the emphasis of balance through an integrated varied practice centering on the practitioner’s heart, mind, and body.
