The first half of the class is yang (active) yoga, where we use rhythmic, flowing poses following the breath.
The second half of the class is yin (passive) yoga, which utilizes longer-held postures ranging from 3-5 minutes to target the connective tissues. We will explore the use of the breath to cultivate a meditative awareness of the sensations in the body as they come and go.
