We are surrounded by people, places, and circumstances that create stress in our lives and we put pressure on ourselves. What kinds of effects can we expect to see as a result of our stress-filled lives?
We know that stress plays a role in causing or making worse a number of diseases. From heart disease, depression, anxiety, diabetes, heartburn, irritable bowel syndrome, and headaches to increased fat storage and weakened immune response.
