Partner Yoga, Dinner Night Out

with Angela Watts

Sun October 8, 2017 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Partner Yoga, Dinner Night Out

Partner Yoga is a great way to enhance your yoga practice and your relationships. We will have a 1 hour Partner Yoga Session followed by dinner at Khon's, one of our Downtown Restaurants.
The yoga class is open to anyone: beginners or advanced practitioners. You do not need to bring a partner. We will interact with the class as a whole and spend some time one on one.
After class, we will venture to the restaurant. The restaurant will have great specials for our class and seating blocked off to accomodate our group. The restaurant this month is Khon's! They will be making two different sushi rolls just for you! The entire menu will also be available to you as well. We are trying to get the best specials possible to offer our students a well deserved great time and yummy food.
Downtown URU plans to have this monthly. If you have a restaurant in mind and would like to request it for future events, please let us know.

Enrichment through Acupuncture, Massage & Restorative Yin Yoga

with Angela Watts

Sun October 22, 2017 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Enrichment through Acupuncture, Massage & Restorative Yin Yoga

Embrace the healing power of combining Acupuncture, Restorative Yoga, and Massage. Yoga, Massage and Acupuncture allow elements to find movement. They awaken the Chakras and balance our Spiritual, mental and physical energies. This workshop will help to balance the yang in your daily life. Let Sarah and Angela enhance the Yin inside you. Yin promotes relaxation, nourishment, and forgivness.
Acupuncture Treatments provide a sense of calmness, groundedness and connection. People have commented that their acupuncture treatments help them feel like themselves again.
Yin Restorative Yoga offers the physical body a chance to relax and feel supported. It is a gentler way to vanish anxiety and empower mental positive affirmations while finding truth in your stillness.

Sarah Newman Kalb has had the pleasure of delivering gentle, safe & effective acupuncture treatments for over 17 years and is located upstairs across from Gulf Breeze URU, her favorite place to practice yoga. 🙂 Acupuncture and yoga go hand-in-hand, helping to nourish the spirit, mental- emotional and physical connection for each individual.

Angela Watts has had the pleasure of instructing yoga for 13 years and is part owner of URU Yoga Downtown. Restorative Yin Yoga is a deep passion of hers. She believes our daily lives (yang) are similar to that of a Rhinoceros; extremely majestic, proud and demands respect. While Yin is represented as a White Egret; beautiful, cleansing and liberating. Yin and Yang, when balanced, have a beautiful symbiosis relationship, just as these amazing creatures do.
