I.
Essentials of Yoga In Schools 101: March 24th 2-5pm
Essential of Children’s Yoga for Camp: June 2nd 2-5pm
*3 contact hours each
Fee: $50
II.
Levels 1-3: Each level is broken down by age group. Level 1 focuses on Pre-School ages 12 months to 5 years old. Level 2 focuses on elementary schools ages from kindergarten to 4th graders. Level 3 focuses on older children in middle school & high school. Total contact hours: 24.
Dates: Sundays 8am-5pm

Level 2: May 26th
October 6th
Level 3: June 30th
November 3rd
Fee: $200 each level or $550 for Levels 1-3 if paid in full (this is already a discounted rate). *Each level equals 9 contact hours. Each level is only 1 day, offered twice a year. You are not required to take these in order.
III.
Mentorship: observing & co-teaching with lead trainer. Total contact hours: 10.
Fee: $100 (please ask lead trainer Kelly Monahan if you qualify to have this fee waived)

Anyone that works with children will find value in these trainings & does not need any yoga experience to participate.
If you are a registered yoga teacher or working towards becoming recognized as a yoga teacher by Yoga Alliance, these trainings meet the requirements for a specialty designation of RCYT. These trainings are also accepted as CEU’s.
To become a Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher (RCYT) you will need to fulfill the total of 95 hours required by Yoga Alliance. You must have a minimum of 37 contact hours with your lead trainer, so you must complete 3 hours from part I, all 3 levels in part II as well as the 10 hours of mentorship in part III. To obtain the remaining hours please talk to lead trainer, Kelly Monahan, for more details.

About the Lead Trainer:
Kelly Monahan, E-RYT 200, RCYT
With a love of children and a love of yoga, Kelly combined her two loves and began teaching yoga to children in the DC, VA & MD area. Beginning in 2008, she started teaching in studios and traveling to bring yoga to children in schools. In 2013, she and her family relocated to Gulf Breeze where she continues to offer yoga to children in the community.
Kelly’s yoga teacher training was with Radiant Child Family Yoga with pioneer children’s yoga teacher, Shakta Khalsa.
