Yoga for Healthy Shoulders

with Naomi Gottlieb-Miller at URU Yoga - Gulf Breeze
Saturday, January 26 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm

How are your shoulders feeling today? Have you given them enough love, lately?

I’m asking because it’s really easy to go through your entire day without giving your shoulders some healthy movement.

It’s pretty easy, in fact, to go through your entire day without using your shoulders for much at all.

This might lead you to having shoulders that feel tired, tight, cranky, or stiff.

Your shoulders might feel so sore after a long day of computer-asana that even lying in bed at night doesn’t give you relief.

I want to teach you how to take great care of your shoulders so you can avoid the shoulder drama. You'll learn some new movement patterns for your shoulders, plus some simple exercises you can do in a few minutes each day to help your shoulders get healthier and stronger.

*Cord Cutting Meditation and Room Clearing

It will be an entire day of some very diverse practices in Energy work, Breathing exercises, withdraw of the senses, Yoga Nidra, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga and Meditation.

We will take moments to discuss some of the neurological benefits of these practices, the effects of stress, how to reduce anxiety and how to be more at ease in stillness. We will introduce you to the mythology of Yoga Nidra, the background of Yin and the pre-cursors to being able to sit still in meditation, making this wonderful for yoga teachers so that you have a language to promote stillness in your students.

We will also primarily do these practices and let ourselves BE, reminding us all that we are the IN-dweller. We have permission to slow down, to let go, to reduce and to refrain for health purposes, not as a form of avoidance at all!

Put down the tasks. Let go of the doer ship. You need this. If you need more time, slow down! These practices will remind you of how important this is to add to your daily habits and routines

Transitioning Gracefully into the Aquarian Age

with Sabrina Clinard at URU Yoga
Saturday, March 9 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

“The Piscean Age was the ugliest age, it was an era in which the female was rooted out from her roots, and exploited to the brink and to the brim by men. Male-female relationships didn’t have any strength.” YB

We are in a new trajectory on the planet. This is a new time with new challenges, requirements. And rules of engagement. ARE YOU READY?

“People’s minds are going to go empty, you are going to find fewer marriages, sex will not be the attraction. A Sensory System will develop; a new system where the individual will find him or herself complete.” YB

Yogi Bhajan gave us the tools, through Kundalini Yoga, to make this transition from the Piscean Age into the Aquarian Age, and to do so gracefully, with compassion and our sanity.

The demands of technology and the massive shifts in economic, social and geopolitical values that it is bringing is also causing our human operating system to upgrade.

Kundalini Yoga is a technology that’s allows us to relax, renew and rejuvenate so that we may participate gracefully in even the mundane moments of everyday life.

You will be given the tools; kriyas, pranayama, meditations and laughter to achieve this shift with grace.

Sabrina is a certified Level II Harmonyum Healer and has been teaching Kundalini Yoga for over 15 years. She resides in the north Georgia mountains.

Intro to Kundalini Yoga

with Sabrina Clinard at URU Yoga - Gulf Breeze
Sunday, March 10 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm

Would you like to use 100% of your capacity as opposed to the 3% you are most likely using today? That includes every capacity; emotional, mental, physical, spiritual, psychological.

That is exactly what Kundalini Yoga does, it allows you to amplify up to 100%.

There are no prerequisites for you to gain the benefits of Kundalini Yoga. It is for the householder, people with jobs, families, bills, everyone. It allows you to deal with the pressures of life and succeed in the face of them.

Kundalini Yoga works fast, do it for a couple of minutes and you will have life- changing results.

Kundalini is the coiled potential within you. It refers to your birthright, your wiring, the most activated version of yourself. Kundalini is a storehouse of power.

Yogi Bhajan brought us these tools to the United States in 1969. Kundalini Yoga is a science that was developed and refined over thousands of years, it is pure and unbroken.

This 2 hour workshop will give you the tools to amp it up!

Sabrina is a certified Level II Harmonyum Healer and has been teaching Kundalini Yoga for over 15 years. She resides on the north Georgia mountains.
