Living with True Ethics
October 2014
Greetings!

                                   ‘We cannot walk alone.
                                        And as we walk
We must make the pledge that we shall always march ahead.
                                    We cannot turn back.’
Martin Luther KIng

A small thought can become a dream, a dream can become a vision, a vision can become a creation, and a creation can become a beautiful reality.  URU is our beautiful reality.

We celebrated our one year anniversary last month.  Thank you for being a part of it. In the last year we have healed, learned, taught, cried, laughed, danced, sang and so much more in this beautiful space. We have experienced many amazing yoga classes, workshops, musical events, friendships and so much more.. We have hung upside down. We have danced in glow in the dark. Children have played. We have connected with each other. We have formed a beautiful community.

Thank you for an amazing year!

We give gratitude to all of the students and teachers knowing that we are all both. . We give gratitude to our amazing landlord. We give gratitude for amazing partnership. We give gratitude to everyone who has helped us create this community by stepping through the door and sharing your presence. We give gratitude for the interconnectedness of all beings.

Guiding our lives with love, honesty, integrity, containment and contentment we can achieve great things. As we walk together into our second year, we hope you continue to dream with us so that we all may turn our visions into beautiful realities.

With love and gratitude,

Rebecca Sathre, Chris Amador & the URU Crew

In order to find out how to reveal our innermost Being, the sages explored the various sheaths of existence, starting from body and progressing through mind and intelligence, and ultimately to the soul. The yogic journey guides us from our periphery, the body, to the center of our being, the soul. The aim is to integrate the various layers so that the inner divinity shines out as through clear glass.”

Prema Hara Kirtan Concert

Sunday, October 19, 6:00-8:00pm
Beautiful Kirtan, Pure Beauty and Bliss will be joining us at URU & Beyond.
“Dive into Ocean of Grace and ride a tidal wave of devotion to the mystical land where Radha and Krishna cavorted.
Prema Hara’s Kamaniya and Keshavacharya transport you there with their sublimely balanced vocals – his strong and deep, hers fluid and lilting.
From the rousingly ecstatic Radha – Queen of Vrindavan to the urban-edged Bhakti Shakti Dub to the epic, profoundly moving title track featuring Jai Uttal and an all-star cast,
Ocean of Grace will stir and serenade your soul into a state of divine bliss as deep and wide as the Pacific. Sure to be remembered as a breakthrough album for this duo.”
