Aerial Silks, Hoops, Conditioning, and Cloud classes

Featured Aerial Silks PictureAt URU Tippin we offer aerial classes and sessions for all ages and levels. We have aerial silk hammocks which can be used for yoga postures, gentle stretching, strengthening of the muscles, as well as fun tricks and flips. The silks are of the same fabric as the big circus shows, but our classes are at a much more approachable level than those. Our aerial silks, conditioning, and cloud classes will incorporate each of these elements into class along with each teacher having their own style. Every class will be different. We offer special events with the silks as well including blacklight glow class and aerial meditation.

Aerial Hoop (Lyra) Workshops
We also offer aerial hoop (lyra) workshops and private instruction

In addition to silk hammocks, we also offer aerial hoop (lyra) workshops and private instruction. Lyra is a metal hoop, often taped or coated, that is hung in a vertical manner similar to silks. Poses and exercises can be performed on all planes of the apparatus, making it beautifully pleasing to the eye. It is a fun and challenging apparatus.

Accompanying our weekly classes and frequent workshops, we also offer private sessions and classes for aerial. Silks can be 1 on 1 or a full private class, up to 13 participants. Pricing is for 1 hour of instruction and will vary per the number of students. This is a great for a birthday, bachelorette party, sorority sister retreat, church group, family outing, or any special time. Private sessions are also a great option if you are unsure of a group class.
Private sessions for lyra are also available, $60 for 1-2 people for 1hr. Small groups and private workshops are also available – please contact swaffordashlyn@gmail.com or 850-898-5706 for questions or scheduling with lyra.

If you have a serious injury past or present, please contact  the studio before scheduling an aerial session.
