Opening the Heart
February 2015
Greetings!

We love with our hearts, bodies and souls yet so often we hold back from giving all of our love to another or feeling true love for ourselves. We protect ourselves from heartbreak and shield our hearts from pain. But inside these boundaries, we lose so much of our self. When we open our hearts to vulnerability and expose our pains to the world, we find more love than we could ever imagine, for ourselves and those around us.
This month, open your heart to the possibility of the biggest love you can feel, love for your Self and everything around. There is no greater gift you can give or receive.

“Love is the bridge between you and everything”
~Rumi

With love and gratitude,

Inversions with Confidence & Ease with Naomi & Nathan

Sunday,  February 22
2-4pm

Set the foundation for happier upside down experiences beginning in this workshop, by learning the tools to confidently establish an empowering inversions practice. This afternoon of upside-down adventures, intends to peel back the layers of doubt and fear that have prevented you from attempting inversions like handstand, forearm stand and headstand in the past.

As you unpack the baggage that weighs you down in your inversion attempts, you will feel physically and energetically lighter. If we can release the heavy burden of self-doubt through clear, effective preparatory poses as well as dissolve the heavier burden of fear through strength building poses, you have a greater chance to feel steadier when you go upside down. Discover fun where fear once lived and enjoy a new lightness of being that transforms your present and future experiences of going upside down!

What exactly are
Heart Openers?
We often store emotions deep within. Heart openers are asanas that expand the chest such as in camel pose or wheel pose. By creating space in the chest, we can tap into those hidden emotions and energies. When we do this, we may feel an emotional release that helps us both on and off the mat to feel more love toward ourselves and others.
URU has a wide range of yoga classes for all ages and comfort levels.  Please notice our new kid’s classes as well.

Parents can practice yoga while children take their own class.
From early morning to evening, there is a class for You!
